Hamilton, Sandown and Gowran Park (Ireland) this evening

Once again a listed race for fillies is the main event this evening, the Hurry Harriet Stakes at 20.20 CET at Gowran Park over 9 1/2 furlongs. She´s Our Mark (Pat Flynn/ Danny Grant) is in great form and has won 3 races already this year, leaving several of these opponents behind her, but as a result she is saddled with a huge weight. On these terms we prefer Chinese White (Dermot Weld/ Pat Smullen)., Aidan O´Brien´s Roman Empress (Samus Heffernan) has been a bit disappointing and Johnny Murtagh has deserted her to partner David Wachman´s Always be True. But the 3yo that really catches the eye is the Aga Khan´s Timabiyra (John Oxx/ Mick Kinane), a daughter of Munich Group One winner Timarida. Frankie Dettori rushes from Salisbury to partner Godolphin´s Al Ghazal in the 2yo maiden over 7 furlongs at 19.35 at Sandown and can be rewarded with victory.

He also has a winning chance on Jeremy Noseda´s Key Art at 18.30, but in the 7 furlongs handicap at 20.10 we fear his mount Pat Eddery´s Key Signature may not be strong enough to hold Peking Prince (Andrw Balding/ William Buick) and Broad Cairn (Roger Charlton/ Steve Drowne). At Hamilton, the main event is a fillies mile handicap at 19.55. Mark Johnston always likes to win here and continues in great form, but his hope Fesko (Joe Fanning) faces some decent opposition, notably the unbeaten Wood Fairy (Richard Fahey/ Paul Hanagan) and Honimiere (Alan Swinbank/ Robert Winston) who has won 3 of her last 4 starts.
