Bath, Folkestone and Sandown this evening

Frankie Dettori rode winners at Deauville and Kempton yesterday and can keep up the good work this evening at Folkestone with Godolphin´s German-bred Marine Spirit in the 2yo maiden at 19.35 CET. The son of Big Shuffle has run two good races already and the opposition does not look very strong. Frankie can also win the 3yo handicap half an hour earlier on Paul Cole´s Bea Menace.

The 10 furlongs handicap for 3yo´s at 20.55 at Sandown looks the best race of the evening in the U.K. Only 7 runners, but all with some good form to their credit. Sequilo (Richard Hannon/ Richard Hughes) is going for a hat-trick, while Akbabend (Mark Johnston/ Royston Ffrench) had something amiss last time but has good prospects on earlier form, while Sir Michael Stoute´s Almuktahem (Tadgh O´Shea) was an easy winner last time, but our preference is for Tottie (Amanda Perrett/ Jim Crowley), who hit the front too early at Glorious Goodwood last week. Sir Mark Prescott has his team in good form and can complete a hat-trick with Point of Light (Rosie Jessop) in the apprentice handicap at 18.55 at Bath.
