Most interesting race at Ripon is the 6 furlongs handicap at 16.45 CET, which look very open. Top-weight Tarabet (Richard Whitaker/ Tony Hamilton) was 3rd of 17 in a better race at York last time, which gives him a good chance, while Red Cape (Ruth Carr/ Andrew Elliott) and Capucci (John Quinn/ Graham Gibbons) were both runners-up last time, but our fancy is Mister Laurel (Richard Fahey/ Paul Hanagan), who made all to win easily at Newcastle last time. At Windsor this evening the two maiden races should repay study. The race at 19.30 is for 2yo maiden fillies over 6 furlongs and at 21.00 for 3- and 4yos´s over 10 furlongs.
