2 meetings in Ireland today

It is a public holiday in Ireland today and as a result we have two meetings this afternoon, with both Cork and Naas staging mixed cards. The best racing is at Cork, where the Group Three race for fillies and mares over 1 1/2 miles at 17.05 has attracted some good runners, including Beach Bunny (Kevin Prendergast/ Chris Hayes), who was only just touched off by Dar Re Mi in the Pretty Polly. Megan´s Star (Tommy Stack/ Willie Lee) has won her last 3 races but is moving up in grade here, while Shreyas (Jim Bolger/ Kevin Manning) faces a stiff task in giving weight away all round. The two big question marks here are Perfect Truth (Aidan O´Brien/ Johnny Murtagh) and Beauty O´Gwaun (John Oxx/ Fran Bery), who were last in the English and Irish Oaks respectively when last seen. The listed mile race half an hour earlier could lie between Georgebernardshaw (O´Brien/ Murtagh), Oh Goodness Me (Bolger/ Manning) and Latin Love (David Wachman/ Colm O´Donoghue), as Jumbojukiba (Jessica Harri ngton/ Fran Berry) may find the trip too far. Several of the top trainers also have runners at Naas, and Aidan O´Brien can pick up the 2yo maiden over 7 furlongs at 15.20 with the well-bred debutant Purple Heart. The hurdle race at 16.50 can go to Sher Why Not (Colm Murphy/ Ruby Walsh), an easy winner over fences last time out.
