4 fixtures this evening

There is racing this evening in the U.K. at Kempton (all-weather) and Yarmouth, as well as Gowran Park and Sligo in Ireland, where, unusually, all races are on the flat. Many of the top jockeys will be in action at Kempton, and it is probably significant that Frankie Dettori, who is riding in France in the afternoon, comes here for just two rides - both for Godolphin - Dhaawiah in the mile maiden at 21.05 CET and seasonal debutant Musleh in the 3yo mile handicap at 21.35. Both races however look very competitive. At Yarmouth, the best race is the 6 furlongs handovap at 20.20 is the best race; last-time-out winners Capone (G Moss/ Hayley Turner) and Big Boom (Mick Quinn/ Pat Cosgrave) have arguably the best form - but watch out for veteran CD specialist Gone´n´Dunnett (Christine Dunnett/ William Carson), who runs his best races here.

In Ireland, Pat Smullen looks the jockey to follow at Sligo, where he can land a hat-trick on Miss Chaparral in the fillies maiden at 20.10, top-weight Vivien Lee in the 3yo handicap at 21.40 - both for Dermot Weld- and Boulay at 20.40 for Michael Grassick. Most of the big guns however will be at Gowran Park, where the 7 furlongs race for unraced 2yo´s at 18.30 has runners from top stables, including Joshua Tree (Aidan O´ Brien/ Johnny Murtagh), Aliwiyya (John Oxx/ Mick Kinane) and Book of Numbers (Jim Bolger/ Kevin Manning)
