Brighton and Musselburgh this afternoon

At Brighton, where most of the 7 races are class 6, last-time-out winner Goose Green (Ron Hodges/ Darryll Holland) can follow up in the 10 furlongs handicap at 17.30 CET; Venture Capitalist (Luca Cumani/ Jamie Spencer) ran badly last time but still looks the main danger. The 5 furlongs handicap half an hour later is very competitive. Top-weight Pic UpSticks (Brendan Powell/ Patrick Hills) is always dangerous in this grade, but is held on earlier CD form by Orpen´s Art (Simon Callaghan/ Holly Hall). Multahab (Michael Migham/ Mark Halford) and Malapropism (Mick Channon/ Marc Geran) must also be considered. At Musselburgh, the best race is the 5 furlongs handicap at 16.45., Toip-weights Argentine (JA McShane/ Paul Mulrennan) and Raccoon (Ruth Carr/ Pter Mcdonald) are in good form and should be involved, but the lightly-weighted Secret Venue(Jedd O´Keeffe/ Tony Hamilton) can complete a CD hat-trick. Hamilton can also take the selling race over the same distance at 15.15 with seasonal debutant David Barker´s Grudge, who has Blue Tomato (David and Adrian Nicholls) and lightly-raced Glenlini (Jim Goldie/ Daniel Tudhope) to beat
