Beverley and Brighton

Typical Tuesday racing this afternoon in Britain, i.e. very low grade. At Beverley, Richard Hills, who is having a tremendous season, has good chances of winning both 3yo maidens with Aqwaas at 17.45 CET and Almuktahem half an hour later, both owned by Hamdan al Maktoum and trained by Sir Michael Stoute. Th handoicaps here look trickier; Snowd Undr (Jamie Bthll/ Farryll Holland) has top-wight but has a good recorder hre ad should go wll, but Hippolytus (John Quinn/ Jamie Kyn) is not penalised for an asy win in Saturday and can be preferred in the 10 furlongs race at 16.45, but Traphalgar (Paul Cole/ Greg Fairley) and Shady Gloom (Kevin Ryan/ Tom Eaves) also have chances here. Darryll Holland, this time riding for Kevin Ryan, also has prospects on Everymanforhimslf in the 5 furlongs race at 17.15, which he won last year, but top-weight Fol Hollow (David and Adrian Nicholls) is a danger. The latter is held by Aegean Dancer (Brian Smart/ Tom Eaves) on early season form, but that one has not run since April. Two ex-German horses have each-way chances on a very undistinguished card at Brighton; they are course specialist Napoletano (Simon Dow/ Tony Culhane) in the 7 furlongs handicap at 17.00 and Artreju in the claiming race an hour later.
