Salisbury and Perth (N.H.) this afternoon

There is also racing this afternoon at Salisbury and Perth. Best race at the former track is the 10 furlongs handicap for 3yo fillies at 15.50 CET. With 13 runners, this looks wide open; Coming Back (John Gosden/ Robert Havlin), Rosika (Sir Michael Stoute/ Louis-Philippe Beuzelin) and Ballet Dancer (Michael Jarvis/ Philip Robinson) have all won their only start this year and are the three on which to concentrate. At Perth, Irish trainer Gordon Elliott will be hoping for better luck than yesterday, when he had fancied runners on 5 races, but only one winner. This time he has runners in 6 of the 7 races, and Present Gesture at 15.30, Lord Lansdown at 16.00 and Eddie Dowling at 16.35, all partnered by Jason Maguire, as well as Kells Castle (Brian Hughes) at 17.45 all seem to hold good chances.
