Jumps racing this evening

Cheltenham stages an all-hunter chase meeting this evening, while there is also N.H. racing at Huntingdon and a mixed meeting (4 flat races, 2 over jumps and a bumper) at Gowran Park in Ireland. The best race at Cheltenham is the 3 1/4 mile event at 19.10 CET, in which Trust Fund (Richard Barber/ Tom Greenall) can follow up his Aintree victory in this grade; obviously Take the Stand (Peter Bowen/ Devereux) would be dangerous at his best, as he was placed in the Gold Cup here, but he appears to have lost form. At Huntingfon Segal (Andrew Hales/ Paul Moloney), much improved when winning last week at Hereford, can follow up in the handicap hurdle at 20.05. At Gowran Park, trainer Willie Mullins and jockey Ruby Walsh, recently crowned Irish N.H, champions for the 2008-9 season, can continue their winning ways with Cranky Corner in the maiden hurdle at 20.30.
