German runners in France today

today´s Longchamp card is rather low key but very interesting from the German point of view. Werner Baltromei, who has not has much luck so far in France this year, saddles runners in 3 races- Part of Pentir (Dominique Boeuf) in the 3yo maiden over 1700 metres at 14.20, Night Haert (Flavien Prat) in the 4- and 5yo mares race over 2000 metres at 16.25, and Titan War (Kati Werning) in the lady jockeys race at 16.55, in which Horst Steinmetz´ Zauberstar (Celine Lauday) is also entered, as well as German -owned Crossbill. Flavien Prat also rides Waldemar Hickst´s Vaccaria, who has good form in France but now has to carry top weight in the 1950 metres handicap at 17.25. In our opinion Zauberstar has the best chance of these, although he is coming off a long break.
