Inspection at Carlisle

Bad weather has returned to Britain and there will be an inspection later this morning to see if racing can go ahead at Carlisle, where there has been a heavy overnight frost. Should racing go ahead, the ground will be heavy and could be some non-runners, with fields small enough as it is. Only 4 are entered in the main event, a novice chase over 3 miles at 16.15 CET, in which Jaunty Flight (Oliver Sherwood/ Oliver Greenall) looks a near certainty and is likely to start at long odds on.
