German runners at Deauville

Deauville´s spring meeting on fibresand continues todaywith a fairly low-level card of 7 races. There are German runners in two of them, both claiming races over 1500 metres with 16 runners. Mario Hofer´s Agent Almeida (Dominique Boeuf) goes for the race for 4yo´s at 14.20, while Erika Mäder´s Esposito (Henk Grewe) and Andreas Löwe´s Shake Hands (Christophe Soumillon) are both entered in the race for older horses at 16.20. Both races look tricky, but the Germans should acquit themselves well.
