German runners at Compiegne

The action in France has now moved to the north of the country and Compiegne opens its doors today for the new season. In the very first race, a mile event for 3yo maidens, the German-trained Event Dash (Norbert Sauer/ Henk Grewe) makes his reappearance. The opposition is difficult to assess but Event Dash showed some decent form las year. The most interesting event is the 2400 metres conditions race at 16.05, in which all 3 German runners could be involved - Eminem (Sauer/ Grewe), Dwilano (Peter Remmert/ Norman Richter) and Amadeus (Horst Steinmetz/ Davy Bonilla); however this is a pretty hot race.
