Dubai Duty Free at 16.55 CET

This could well be the most exciting race of the day, with a full field of 16 runners over the 1777 metres trip and a furious pace likely from the start. Three of the more fancied horses have been drawn wide, Paco Boy (Richard hannon/ Richard Hughes), drawn 13, the much-improved Presvis (Luca Cumani/ Ryan Moore)in 16 and 2008 winner Jay Peg (Herman Brown/ Warchong Marwing) drawn 15. Much will depend on the way the race pans out, but the distance could be too far for Paco Boy, who seems more of a 7 furlongs specialist. Saeed bin Suroor saddles three runners, with Frankie Dettori partnering the ex-German Lady Marian, running for the first time since her brilliant victory in the Prix de l´Opera but in her case the distance could be too short. Two more mares with big chances are the Australian Tuesday Joy (Gai Waterhouse/ Darren Beadman) and the Japanese Vodka (Katsuhiko Sumii/ Yukata Take), who looked very unlucky here last time. Given more luck in running, Vodka should certainl y be involved here, but in our view Archipenko (Mike de Kock/ Kevin Shea) could be the safest bet.

Betting forecast:
5. Race: Paco Boy - Archipenko - Vodka
