Tony McCoy - 3000 winners and still going strong

Amid all the gloom it is a pleasure to report one piece of positive news - yesterday at Plumpton Tony McCoy rode the 3,000th jumps winner of his career, setting a standard which will probably never be equalled (except by himself). This is really an amazingly impressive feat, one of the greatest ever in racing worldwide, and McCoy is now setting his sights on 4,000. He has been champion jockey in the U.K. for the past 13 years and is certain to be champion again this year and for the foreseeable future.
