Three all-weather meetings today

Lots of action for all-weather fans today, with racing this afternoon at Lingfield and this evening at Wolverhampton and also in Ireland at Dundalk. The Dundalk card offers little quality but plenty of quantity, as there are maximum fields for most races. The best race is the 1 1/2 miles conditions race at 21.40 CET. Unfortunately Champion Hurdle contender Harchibald does not now run, but there is still a top-class N.H. performer in the field, John Queally´s Al Eile (Fran Berry), who despite a long absence throiugh injury can take this at the main expense of Prince Erik (Dermot Weld/ Pat Smullen) and Green Tabasco (Mike O´Brien/ Wayne Lordan). Otherswise the card is dominated by 3 bumpers, which can all go to Willie Mullins´ in-form stable.

At Lingfield, Gay Kelleway´s Singleb hasc struck up a fine partnership woth Jamie Spencer and the cmbinbation can win for the fourth time running in the 7 furlongs handicap at 16.55. However it is his first run at this track and with top-weight it will not be easy, with several CD specialists in opposition, for example German-bred Napoletano (Simon Dow/ Neil Callan), who however has become very inconsistent. The 3yo handicap over furlongs at 17.30 looks quite open, but lightly-raced Theatre Street (Jeremy Noseda/ Neil Callan) and Quick Single (Phil McEntee/ Steve Drowne) are both improving types who can doninate here. At Wolverhampton, Mutamared (Kevin Ryan/ Neil Callan), who haswon his last 5 races, meets better opposition in the 6 furlongs handicap at 21.20 but can still score again. Veterans Little Edward (Ron Hodges/ George Baker) and The Tatling (Milton Bradley/ Robert Winston) look the main dangers. Another winning sequence can be continued in the 9 furlongs handicap a t 20.50, where the much-improved Brouhaha (Tom Dascombe/ Ross Atkinson) attempts to win his fourth successive race, all over this CD.
