Ireland today

a decent all-hurdles card at Punchestown today, with possibly some Cheltenham contenders on view, and the team to follow once again seems to be trainer Willie Mullins and jockey Ruby Walsh, who have fancied runners in the first 4 races. Pomme Tiepy was a bit disappointing in the autumn, but can come back to form in the 2 1/2 mile race at 14.55 CET. Otay Kawn was an easy winner last time and can follow up in the 2 mile race at 15.35, although he faces strong opposition from Uncle Tom Cobley (Conor O´Dwyer/ Davy Russell) and Realt Dubh (Noel Meade/ Paul Carberry). Quevega, who has some smart French firm to her credit, and Sports Line can also score for the Mullins/ Walsh combination at 15.55 and 16.30 respectively.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Pomme Tiepy - Head Of The Posse - Mick The Man
2. Race: Uncle Tom Cobley - Otay Kawn - Realt Dubh
3. Race: Quevega - On The Way Out - Ambobo
4. Race: Sports Line - Dundrum - Killeenmore
5. Race: Kind Oscar - Fly Vic - Mary`S Little Vic
6. Race: Meadows Thyne - Rory`S Sister - Aggie
7. Race: Rinceoir Rua - Taking Stock - Ifitstobe
