Carlisle and Huntingdon abandoned

both today´s British N.H. meetings, at Carlisle and Huntingdon, have been abandoned. The loss of Carlisle is particularly annoying, as officials there seemed more hopeful yesterday, and will be espec ially frustrating for Tony McCoy, forced to wait yet again in his quest to ride his 3,000 th winner. However there will be jumps racing in Ireland today (at Down Royal), while, with the weather now improving slightly, prospects now look brighter tor tomorrow´s N.H. fixtures at Huntingdon and Taunton (and Clonmel in Ireland). The chances of Newbury´s big Saturday meeting going ahead, featuring Denman and Master Minded, have also improved.
