Baltromei at Marseille

The Cagnes-sur-mer meeting is over, but there is still racing in the south of France and the action today moves along the coast to Marseille, where there are 7 flat races and two over jumps. Werner Baltromei, who had a most disappointing meeting at Cagnes, tries here with a couple of flops from the Riviera track, who may be much setter suited by the soft turf track they will encounter here, rather than the fast fibresand they raced on at Cagnes. They are Naxon in the tiercé handicap over 2000 metres at 13.50 and Delano in a 2600 metres handicap at 15.50, both partnered by Dominique Boeuf. In the latter event White Bull (Said-Ali Ghoumrassi/ William Mongil) is another runner for the stable and could also go well.
