Punchestown repeats Friday card

Good news for N.H. fans today is that Punchestown will repeat its abandoned card from last Friday. The Irish track has several interesting races on its card, and quite likely some Cheltenham contenders will be on view. Main event is the Grade 3 4yo hurdle at 14,25 CET, in which the useful Tharawaat (Gordin Elliott/ Davy Russell) must concede 7 lbs to King of Queens (Tom Mullins/ Robbie Power) not far behind him last time - and easy last-time-out winner Ebadiyan (Oliver Brady/ John Cullen). The opening hurdle race over 2 12 miles has two above avere performers in the line-up - Perce Rock (Tommy Stack/ Alan Crowe) and Fred´s Benefit (Willie Mullins/ Ruby Walsh), while later the old adage "the bigger the field, the bigger the certainty" will be twice put to the test - with Zaarito (Colm Murphy/ Matt O´Connor) in the maiden hurdle at 15.25, and with Rare Bob (Dessie Hughes/ Paddy Flkood) in the beginners chase an hour later.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Perce Rock - Freds Benefit - Antipode
2.Race: Tharawaat - King Of Queens - Ebadiyan
3.Race: Molton Rock - In The Zone - Newton Bridge
4.Race: Zaarito - Dual Gales - Time Electric
5.Race: Natural Storm - Oscar Dubh - Magnesium
6.Race: Rare Bob - Oscar Time - Captain Conflict
7.Race: Quaquo De Flotte - Ballymurray Boy - Maurice Speed
