Newbury off today

the weather continues to play havoc with British and Irish fixtures and Newbury´s N.H. fixture today is off. However the good news is that Fairyhouse goes ahead after an early morning inspection - this fixure has already been rescheduled twice in the past week. Tomorrow´s Uttoxeter meeting looks doubtful ad is subject to an insection, while both Navan on Saturday amd Hexham on Sunday will stage all-hurdles cards as their chase courses are unraceable. However prospects look better for tomorrow´s big Cheltenham card and also for Sunday´s Irish Champion Hurdle meeting at Leopardstown. Ayr, where there also reported to be no problems, will stage another additional meeting on Sunday. The going looks certain to be very soft everywhere.
