Leicester off, Sedgefield inspection

Today´s N.H. meeting at Leicester has been abandoned as the track is waterlogged, while there is still an inspection to be held at Sedgefield. If racing goes ahead, the ground will be very testing. Also plans to hold Fairyhouse´s abandoned Sunday meeting today have had to be cancelled, it is now hoped to stage this fixture on Friday. The problem at the moment is heavy rain, and it seems certain that the going will be soft or heavy for all this week´s British and Irish fixtures, including Cheltenham´s big "trials" meeting on Saturday
