France today

All the French action today is in the south of the country, with Pau in the south-west staging one of its biggest meetings, and also trotting from Cagnes-sur-mer on the Riviera. Easily the best race is the Grande Course de Haies de Pau over 4100 metres at 16.20, in which Guy Cherel´s Tell No One (Cyrille Gombeau) seems certain to start a warm favourite after winning his last 3 races and already defeating several of today´s opponents. German-bred Licato, trained by Robert Collet, could run into a place at a big price.
