Baltromei tries again at Cagnes-sur-mer

Despite the weekend´s storms, racing at the Riviera meeting at Cagnes-sur-mer seems almost certain to go ahead and Werner Baltromei, out of luck at the meeting so far, tries again with 4 runners, all partnered by Dominique Boeuf. Titan War runs in the 2400 metres claimer at 14.05, where ex-German La Fee (JM Capite/ Gregoire Benoist) looks the main danger, Song of Toger in the main event, a conditions race over 2000 metres at 14,35, Balladur in another claimer for older horses at 15.35 (where ex-German Ozzia (Yanick Fertillet/ Jouan Rousset could be the biggest threat), and finally Delano in the 2400 metres handicap at 17.05. Delano has disappointed so often that it is difficult to be confident, but he is now on a very attractive mark. All racing at Cagnes this week will be on the fibregrass track, but it is hoped to have turf races again next week.
