all-weather racing at Lingfield and Kempton

Two very moderate all-weather meetings today help to plug the gap left by the abandonment of two N.H.meetings, but both look very tricky for punters. Andean Margin (Simon Callaghan/ Jamie Spencer) has been runner-up three times running, but can finally get his nose in front in the 3yo handicap at 15.05 CET at Lingfield. Best race here is the mile handicap at 15.40 and the big question is Sir Mark Prescott´s Touch of Freedom (Stephen Donohoe), who has top-weight but may well be different class to these opponents. However he has only run once since his 2yo days, and that was in Ireland, so there is virtually no form to go on. Hucking Hero (John Best/ Steve Drowne) and Napoletano (Simon Dow/ Nicky Mackay) are alternatives in an open race. The best long-shot on the card is veteran course specialist Siena Star in the 10 furlongs handicap at 16.50.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: One More Round - Don Pele - C`Mon You Irons
2.Race: Auld Arty - Flamsteed - Hatman Jack
3.Race: Sorrel Ridge - Dedante - Deckchair
4.Race: Andean Margin - Song Of Praise - Duke Of Normandy
5.Race: Torch Of Freedom - L`Hirondelle - Hucking Hero
6.Race: Wind Flow - Star Choice - Nora Chrissie
7.Race: Chalice Welcome - Middle Of Nowhere - Old Romney
8.Race: Bollywood Style - Wooden King - Nikki Bea

Best race at this evening´s Kempton meeting is the 3yo mile handicap ar 21.50. Although there are only 5 runners, it looks quite competitive, and we give slight preference to Mark Johnston´s Bushveld (Greg Fairley) over top-weight Sky Gate and easy last-time-out winner Royal Collection.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Chalentina - Nordic Light - Convince
2.Race: Street Power - Ten Pole Tudor - Duke Of Milan
3.Race: Sounds Of Jupiter - Leo The Lion - Oxus
4.Race: Imperium - White Moss - Eseej
5.Race: Bushveld - Mellow Mixture - Royal Collection
6.Race: Cheap Thrills - Head Down - Lucky Dan
