all-weather action at Southwell and Wolverhampton.

Today´s all-weather racing comes from Southwell in the afternoon and Wolverhampton this evening. The best race at Southwell is the 1 3/4 miles handicap at 16.20 CET, in which all 9 runners hae good recent form. Ibrox (AD Brown/ Jimmy Quinn) is moving up in grade after an easy maiden win here, but is certainly not out of it with bottom weight. 9yo My Friend Fritz (Paul Hiatt/ Luke Morris) is consistent and should be involved, while El Diego (Jeremy Gask/ Neil Callan) is going for a hat-trick. Likely favourite however is the enigmatic Dart (James Fanshawe/ Jamie Spencer), a beaten favourite - not for the first time!- this CD last time out. He has scored his only two victories with Spencer, who may be able to get the best out of him today and can follow up with course specialist Guto in the 5 furlongs handicap half an hour later.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Paint Splash - Solo Choice - My Best Man
2. Race: More Time Tim - Lady Longcroft - Orpenella
3. Race: Trans Sonic - My Mirasol - Opera Writer
4. Race: Dart - Take Me There - El Diego
5. Race: Punching - Now You See Me - Calmdownmate
6. Race: Head To Head - Vanatina - Nautical

At Wolverhampton, Ahlawy (Frank Sheridan/ Fernet Branca), who has won his last two races very easily, can complete a hat-trick in the 1 /2 mile handicap ar 20.50, even though he has never races over this trip before. If his stamina fails him, Mark Johnston´s consistent Scarab (Greg Fairley) is the obvious alternative. Another very consistent performer is Red Somerset, first or second his last 5 starts, and he can defy top weight in the 9 furlongs handicap at 21.20.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Nordic Light - Desert Light - Lady Hopeful
2. Race: Drifting Gold - Incomparable - Sarah`S Art
3. Race: Ahlawy - Scarab - Lapina
4. Race: Red Somerset - Gallantry - Silver Hotspur
5. Race: Common Diva - Hold The Bucks - Kiyari
6. Race: Riguez Dancer - Baan - Bridgewater Boys
