There are some huge fields today at Deauville, where another double-decker card is staged, with 4 races in the morning (first race at 11.20) and 8 in the afternoon session (first race 13.30), all on fibregrass and almost all with a maximum field. Although there were several entries from German trainers, all except one have been eliminated, so that Werner Baötromei´s Delano (Gaetan Masure) is now the only German runner. He has a chance in the 2400 metres handicap at 16.05, but these races are never easy and it is not certain that he will be suited by the track.
