Plumpton and Wolverhampton

Today´s racing at Plumpton (N.H.) and Wolverhampton (all-weather) is very low-key, but there are a couple of interesting ex-Germans running in hurdle races at Plumpton. Wendel, bred by Gestüt Röttgen, makes his British debut for Charlie Mann with Noel Fehily in the saddle in the maiden hurdle at 14.30, while Kokoschka (Charlie Egerton/ Jimmy McCarthy), who won 3 races in Germany in 2005, has so far been a bit disappointing on his British starts, but still must have a chance in the novice hurdle at 14.00. The unbeaten It´s Touch (David Pipe/ Timmy Murphy) is clearly the one to beat.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Thursday`S Knight - Nearly A Breeze - Lets Cast Again
2.Race: Murphy - Tuskar Rock - Safari Journey
3.Race: Its Tough - Finney - Alderluck
4.Race: Fourpointone - Dillay Brook - Miss Doublet
5.Race: Bathwick Man - Harlequinn Danseur - Magpie
6.Race: Mystical Star - King Cyrus - Royal Kicks
7.Race: Rhinestone Ruby - Dalmatian - Rebeccas Choice

At Wolverhampton, Casino Night (Bob Johnson/ Dean Heslop), who has already won 4 races this season with this jockey, including at Newmarket last Friday, can score again at 16.20, while top-weight Prince Noel (Neil Wilson/ Brian McHugh) should be good enough in the class 5 handicap at 16.50. Mark Johnston´s Takeove Bid (Joe Fanning) flopped last time at Brighton but can recover losses in the 2yo maiden at 18.20.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Smalljohn - Statute Book - Svindal
2.Race: New Beginning - Manero - Dancourt
3.Race: Casino Night - Sir Ike - Bramalea
4.Race: Prince Noel - Hawaana - Aussie Blue
5.Race: Satwa Street - Tikka Masala - La Capriosa
