German runners at Toulouse

It is a long way from Mülheim in the heart of Germany´s industral Ruhr district to Toulouse in southern France, but Uwe Ostmann makes this journey today with his useful performer Stella di Quattro (William Mongil), who contests the Group Three Prix Fille de l´Air for fillies and mares over 2100 metres at 14.20. This is a very open race, and Kareemah (John Hammond/ Franck Blondel), Alpine Rose (Jean-Claude Rouget/ Christophe Soumillon) and the Monsun daughter La Boum (Robert Collet/ Thierry Jarnet) are just 3 of several dangers. Dieter Fechner also makes the journey from his Iffezheim base, and both hs runners, Marek (Dominique Boeuf) in the opening 2000 metres race at 13.15, and Global Dream (Ioritz Mendizibal) in the tiercé handicap over a mile at 13.50, have decent each-way chances.
