All-weather racing at Lingfield and Kempton

Two all-weather meetings today, Lingfield this afternoon and Kempton this evening, with several jockeys riding at both tracks. Punters won´t get rich backing Jamie Spencer on odds-on favourites, but it is hard to see David Elsworth´s Swiss Diva tasting defeat in the 2yo maiden over 6 furlongs at 14.30 CET at Lingfield. She has twice been runner-up in much better company than she faces today. Otherwise the two divisions of the class 4 7 furlongs handicap look the most interesting races at Lingfield. The first division at 13.30 can go to Mister New Yorek (Noel Chance/ Jim Crowley), whos trainer is better kniwn for his N.H. exploits, but who sent this one out to an easy win at Wolverhampton last week; Bahiano (Clive Brittain/ Neil allan) is inconsistent but could be thr main danger on a course where he has often excelled. The second division at 15.30 is quite open; bittom weight April Fool (Jonathan Geake/ Liam Keniry) seems well treated, but our selection is German-bred Carmene ro (Willie Muir/ Martin Dwyer), who was unlucky here last time and should go close if getting a clear run today.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Epsom Salts - Potentiale - Highest Esteem
2.Race: My Gacho - Mister New York - Bahiano
3.Race: Bantu - Cape Express - Winter Miss
4.Race: Swiss Diva - Barnezet - Pethers Dancer
5.Race: Woolston Ferry - Cool Art - Hawkspring
6.Race: April Fool - Fiefdom - Internationaldebut
7.Race: Neuchatel - Blue Tango - Goodison Glory
8.Race: Plush - Batchworth Blaise - Quality Street

At Kempton, the best race is the conditions event over 7 furlongs at 20.50. Bonus (Ger Butler/ Eddie Ahern) is the class act here and although he is possibly better at 6 furlongs, can defy top weight this time, at the main expense of Confuchias (Karl Burke/ Darren Williams) - third in the Ayr Gold Cup last time- and Red Alert Day (Simon Callaghan/ Shane Kelly). Megalo Maniac (Richard Fahey/ Paul Hanagan) ca complete a hat-trick under top weight in the 7 furlongs handicap at 21.20 and lightly-raced Silaah (Ed Dunlop/ Tom McLaughlin) can take the concluding 6 furlongs handicap an hour later.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Bountiful Bay - Bishopbriggs - Bluebok
2.Race: Came Back - Little Edward - Makshoof
3.Race: Bring It On Home - Yab Adee - Dontpaytheferryman
4.Race: Dialect - Three Ducks - Okba
5.Race: Red Alert Day - Bonus - Markab
6.Race: Megalo Maniac - Sarah`S Art - Torquemada
7.Race: Thabaat - Solicitude - Overstayed
8.Race: Silaah - Dazzling Bay - Rasaman
