4 jumps meetings today

Plenty of jumping action today, with N.H. racing at Hereford, Market Rasen and Wincanton in England and Thurles in Ireland. The most interesting runner at Thurles is Cooldine in the opening beginners chase at 13.35 CET. He won 5 successive hurdles races last year, 3 of them here, and with trainer Willie Mullins coming back to form and smart young claimer Paul Townend on board, he should start his chasing career on a winning note. Alpine Eagle (Jessica Harrington/ Barry Geraghty) in the 4yo maiden hurdle at 15.05 is another likely short-priced favourite here. Another trainer coming into form is Ferdy Murphy and he can take Markat Rasen´s beginners chase over 2 3/4 miles at 14.40 with Nine de Sivola (Graham Lee), still a maiden over fences but placed in several top events. The trip seems a bit short but he can still take care of Bay Cherry (Howard Johnson/ Denis O´Regan) and Coe (Sue Smith/ Christian Williams). At Hereford the man to follow should be Tony McCoy, who ca take the first 3 races with Charlie Egerton´s Solar Max in the 3yo hurdle at 14.20, Tim Vaughan´s Priests Field in thre selling hurdle at 14.50 and Jeremy Scott´s Gone to Lunch in the main event, a 3 miles 1 furlong beginners chase at 15.20. Wincantpn is Paul Nicholls´ local track and it ususally pays to follow the championb trainer here - he had 5 winners at the last meeting. However today he only saddles 2 runners, Definity (Sam Thomas) in the novice hurdle at 14.30 and Lamanver Homerun (LIam Heard) in the mares novice chase half an hour later. In both cases thre main opposition is provided by the Alan King/ "Choc" Thornton team, with Orion d´Oudaires and Katess respectively.
