Limerick today

Flat racing today at Limerick, an additional fixture to replace some of the many Irish races lost to the weather over the past few weeks, but the ground will again be heavy and the races mainly low-level. Te openin 2yo maiden over 6 1/2 furlongs at 14.35 CET seems to lie between Coat of Arms (Aidan O´Brien/ Seamus Heffernan) and Intimate Secret (Dermot Weld/ Pat Smullen), who are both clearly far from the best juveniles in their powerful stables vut have shown enough to suggest they will win a race or two.

Weld ad Smullen can possibly double up in the following maiden for 3yo´s over the same trip with Cihangir, clearly the form pick despite some disappointments, where Ciserassdotcom (Mike Halford/ Sean Foley) and Pussyfooking (Edward Lynam/ Chris Hayes) look thr main dangers. Hayes also has an obvious chance of winning the final 1 mile 3 furlongs handicap at 17.05 with Western Winner, who has been runner-up 3 times running but is still a maiden; an interesting runner here is ex-German Gladiole (Ger Cully/ Paul Townend), who came back from a 2 year break to run twice fairly respectably, and at least knows how to win (twice successful in Germany in 2005 and rated 75 GAG).

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Intimate Secret - Coat Of Arms - Eurosmart Lady
2.Race: Caherassdotcom - Voldmort - Cihangir
3.Race: Bolt Up - Talk Of Excitment - If Per Chance
4.Race: Kaitlins Joy - Andre Mon Ami - Karma Lina
5.Race: Lilly Lavender - Grand Fella - Baldini
