Newmarket today stages its most unusual race meeting of the year - all 7 races are for 2yo´s only, and the large fields show just how much these juvenile races are needed in the autumn. With huge numbers of newcomers and unexposed types entered, punting will not be easy, but two possible winners are Bounty Box (Jack Mitchell) in the opening 6 furlongs maiden at 14.55 CET, as his trainer Chris Wall has his 2yo´s in top form at the moment, and Summers Target (Brian Meehan/ Jamie Spencer) in the 7 furlongs maiden at 16.40; he has twice finished runner-up in good company and can make it third time lucky here. Meehan and Spencer should also go close with Absent Pleasure in the nursery handicap at 16.05, but that race looks much more open.
