Salisbury and Wolverhampton this evening

Salisbury today stage the last evening meeting on turf in the U.K. in 2008 and their 8 race card features a listed race for 2yo´s over a mile at 19.05. Henry Cecil´s On our Way (Ted Durcan) is the only one of 8 runners to have form over this distance, which is an obvious advantage, but Dermas (Ed Dunlop/ Martin Dwyer), and Richard Hannon´s pair Sohcahtoa (Richard Hughes) and Measurement (Pat Dobbs) all won in good style last time and are expected to stay this extra furlong. At Wolvethampton´s all-weather track, the class 5 handicap over 1 1/2 miles at 21.20 is the most interesting race. Irish-trained Master of Arms (Daniel Loughnane/ Jerry O´Dwyer) won well here at the beginning of the month from Swords (Ray Peacock/ Ashley Hamblett), a winner since, and can possibly confirm the form on these terms, but Adorabella (Alan King/ Jamie Spencer) was an easy winner at Newbury last week and can prove best.
