German runners in France today

Big race in France today is the Group Three Prix de Miverve over 2500 mtres for3yo fillies at 16.20 at Deauville. Christian Spengel´s Carolina Directa (Andrasch Starke) takes a sharp leap in class here after her easy win at Hamburg and will do well to run into the money. Alain de Royer-Dupré ´s Shemima (Christophe Soumillon). André Fabre´s Astrologie (Stephane Pasquier) and John Gosden´s Englsh raider Dar re mi (Olivier Peslier) are all proven listed/ group race performers and could prove to strong for the German filly. There is also a German runner in the main supporting race, a listed event over a mile for 3yo fillies at 14.20, in whuch Werner Baltronei´s Time to Beat (Dominique Boeuf) faces Godolphin´s Desert Chill (Gerald Mossé) aming others. Other German runners here are Grazilla (Andreas Trybuhl/ Jerome Lermyte) in the opening tierce handicap over 2400 metres at 13.50, Malkovich (Trybuhl/ Soumillon) and Davitesse (Mario Hofer/ Andreas Helfenbein) in the 1200 metre claimers for 2yo´s at 14.20 and 15.20, and Zaubermann (Hans Blume/ Jean-Pierre Carvalho) in a 1500 metres claimer on the fibresand track at 16.50. There is also an evening flat meeting at Vichy, where Zadounevees (Wolfgang Gücher/ Eric Wehrel) contests the 2400 metres race at 18.20; any further rain would help his chances.
