German runners at Clairefontaine

The Deauville summer season starts today with a low-key meeting at Clairefontane with numerous German-trained runners. Christian von der Recke has booked Christopohe Soumillon to ride Wango Girl in the 2yo clainung race over 1400 metres that opens the card at 13.50 CET. Werner Baltromei and Domninique Boeuf team up in the nest two races with Adelar, in the 2200 metres race for 3yo´s at 14.20, and Delano in a mile handicap at 14.50. The two German runners in the mile race for 3yo´s at 15.20 are Lone Star (Michael Trybuhl/ William Mongil) and Jive (Horst Steinmetz/ Boeuf). Finally Paul Johnson rides in two hurdle races over 3600 metres, Kiss me Lips for Andreas Löwe at 16.20 and El Kabara for Andreas Trybuhl at 17.50, in which race Music by Mozart (Heinz Lamely/ Jan Koraps) is another intended German runner. There is also trotting this afternoon at Beaumont and this evening at Cabourg.
