French racing today

With Deauville taking a day off, there is mainly low-level racing in France today, with flat racing this afternoon at Vichy (with a late start at 15.35), trotting at Enghien and evening trotting from Cagnes. From the German point if view, the most interesting event is the 1800 metres race for lady riders at 18.35 at Vichy, in which Markus Klug´s Polyanta (Helen Corcoran) has a good each-way chance. Among the opposition are two more German-breds, Tiberius Caesar (Catherine Rieb-Menard), now trained in France and Ailton (Regina Klein), now trained by Carmen Bocskai in Switzerland.
