Bank Holiday Monday

Today is August Bank Holiday in the U.K. with plenty of racing, mainly at a very low level. Newcastle and Chepstow have been abandoned, but there are still 6 fixtures, two of them over jumps as well as a mixed meeting from Downpatrick in N. Ireland. The rest of the Tralee fixture in the Irish Republic has also had to be abandoned, as the track is flooded, but it is hoped to repeat the meeting - the last ever at this historic track- in the autumn.
