Tuesday afternoon

Tuesday is often the weakest day of the week as far as the quality of racing is concerned, and that is certainly the case today, with none of the races at this afternoon´s meetings at Brighton and Hamilton being better than class 5. However every race is a new betting opportunity and punters could do well to concentrate on the rides of Seb Sanders and Ryan Moore at Brighton, and Paul Hanagan at Hamilton. Sanders can take the take the 3yo handicap over 7 furlongs at 16.00 CET for trainer Ralph Beckett with top-weight Spin Again, who haslooked slightly unlucky te last twice, while he and Moore can fight out the finish of the 1 1/2 miles handicap at 17.30 on Sir Mark Prescott´s casual Garcia and Roger Charlton´s Sea Admiral respectively. The most interesting race here could be the 10 furlongs maiden at 17.00, in which Hendersdyke (Walter winburn/ Adam Kirby), a $ 300,000 yearling, Dark Prospect (Michael Jarvis/ Darryll Holland) and Gingham (Luca Cumani/ Dane O´Neill) all have chances. At Hamilton, Hanagan has several good rides for the Richard Fahey stable, notably top-weight Deep Winter in the 3yo mile handicap at 16.15, Fujin Dancer over 9 furlongs half an hour later and King´s College Boy in the 5 furlongs handicap at 17.45. The latter was beaten in a photo-finish here 5 days ago after winning twice the previous week and must be followed while he is such tremendous form.
