Ripon, Roscommon and Windsor

Racing this evening comes from Roscmmon in Ireland, Ripon and Windsor. At the Irish track, tnhere are 3 flat races and 3 over hurdles as well as a bumper, the main event is a listed event over 1 1/2 miles at 19.40 CET. Aidan O´Brien saddles 4 runners, the best of whom could be Sweet Sixteen (Seamus Heffernan), fifth in good company on her only start so far, but it could be significant that stable jockey Johhny Murtagh rides Arkadina for the same owners, who is trained by David Wachman. Red Moloney (Kevin Prendergast/ Feclan McDonogh) looks the likeliest winner, despite a huge weight, and holds John Oxx´ Simawa (Mick Kinane) on their latest running together. At Ripon, the best race is the class 2 handicap for 3yo´s over 6 furlongs at 21.20. Great Charm (Michael Bell/ Jamie Spencer) who has won 4 of his last 6 races (including on Saturday) is the obvious choice here, although hat-trick-seeking Wotashirtfull (Kevin Ryan/ Neil Callan) might be a problem. At Windsor there are to class 4 handicaps. At 21.00 over 10 furlongs, Dear Maurice (Ed Dunlop/ Seb Sanders) could complete a hat-trick; he has won his last two races, both over a mile here, very easily and the extra distance should be within his range. Ex-German Artreju (Gary and Ryan Moore) has not really fired so far in Britain, and last -time -out CD winner Closertobelieving (Davd Elsworth/ Richard Quinn) looks more of a danger. Dunlop and Moore team up in the 1 1/2 miles handicap at 22.00 with Coin of the Realm, and this maiden, in the money in all his 3 starts, could win on his first outing in a handicap.
