German runners at Compiegne

After the highlights of the Hamburg Derby meeting, it is bacl to normal today and several German-trained runners are engaged at a much lower level in Compiegne. Pirina (Hans Blume( Andreas Suborics) runs in the second race at 14.20, a 3yo seller over 2400 metres. An hour later, Werner Baltromei saddles Alpenadler (Domninique Boeuf) in an 1800 metres race for unraced 3yo´s. There are 3 German entries in the seller for 5yo´s and older horses over 2000 metres at 16.20: Gordion (Norbert Sauer/ Davy Bonilla), Wellango (Blume/ Subi) and Lava Rock (Hans Walter Hiller/ Thierry Richer), while Wilfried Kujath has 2 runners in the final race at 17.20, a seller over 1400 metres: Practical Joke (Alxo Baden) and Siesta (Stephane Pasquier).
