Ireland this evening

Cork and Wexford are the two Irish tracks in action this eveniung, and boith of them have 3 flat races, 3 over hurdles and a bumper on the card. The better racing is at Cork, where the mile maiden at 19.15 CET looks a hot race. Jim Bolger´s Luminaire (Kevin Manning) is the possible favourite after losing by a short head at Tipperary last time, but Augustine Leahy´s Prince Igor (Chris Hayes), who made the running there at too fast a pace, could turn the form around, while James McAulay´s Time Travel (Colm O´Donoghue) and John Oxx´ Soul Murmur (Mick Kinane) both look dangerous, and Dermot Weld´s Designated Decoy (Pat Smullen) is a well-bred newcomer. Oxx should in any case be on the scoreboard at Wexford, where the Aga Khan´s Zamiyla (Fran Berry) should win the 1 mile 5 furlongs maiden at 20.05. She was beaten a short-head on her debut over 9 furlongs, but this longer trip could suit her better.
