German runners at Vichy

The Vichy summer meeting continues today, and once again several German-trained horses take their chances. Easily the best of them is Dieter Fechner´s Marek (Franck Foresi), who however faces a tough task under top weight in the tiercé handicap over 1600 metres at 13.50. Conny Brandstätter saddles two 3yo´s in the 2400 metres races at 14.20 (colts) and 16.20 (fillies) in Sultan of Riad and Auenlove respectively, both ridden by Antoine Sanglard. In the latter race Manfred Weber´s Kazuma Kate (Dominique Boeuf) is another German-trained entry.
