German runners at Maisons-Laffitte

The German run of success in France continued yesterday and there could be more winners today, when several German-trained runners try their luck at Maisons-Laffitte. Danawind (Ralf Rohne/ William Mongil) rruns in the opening race for 3yo´s over 1600 metres and Masquenade (Werner baltromei/ Dominique Boeuf) and Redita Corriente (Ana Bodenhagen/ Gregoire Benoist) in a similar event for fillies half an hour later. West Pacific (Rohne/ Antony Crastus) goes for the 2100 metrs seller at 15.40, while there are 3 German runners over a mile at 16.55: Le Big (Uwe Stoltefuss/ Jean-Michel Breux), Weltträumer (Andreas Trybuhl/ Sebastien Maillot) and Kistria (Hartmut Steguweit/ Delphine Santiago). In the mile seller at 17.25 Spejbl (Pawel Vovcenko/ Christophe Soumillon) and Nogaro (Michael Trybuhl/ William Mongil) are the German challengers. In our opinion West Pacific and Nogaro have the best chances.
