N.H. racing at Cartmel and Ballinrobe

Jumps racing today comes from Cartmel, in the Lake District, and Ballinrobe in Irelabd, where there is a mixed meeting this evening, with 3 flat races, 3 over jumps and a bumper. Most interesting runner here, is Sivota (Michael Murphy/ Paul Carberry), who recently ran well on the flat and has also fair form over hurdles; he should be good enough to take the4yo maiden hurdle at 21.00 CET. At Cartmel, the best race is also a maiden hurdle for 4yo´s at 17.45 CET. German-bred Auenschütze is now trained in N. Ireland by James Lambe and despite a couple of poor performances, should go close here with Tony McCoy in the saddle. Sharp Dresser (Venetia Williams/ Aidan Coleman), Dee Jay Wells (Derek Thompson/ JP O´Farrell) and Donald McCain´s two runners Grasscutter (Jason Maguire) and Woodcraft (PJ Benson) - neither of whom completed last time- look the obvious dangers.
