Irish racing this evening

There are two Irish meetings this evening, Downpatrick and Wexford, both mixed cards. At Downpatrck there are 4 races over hurdles and 3 flat races (all for apprentices).Best bet should be Gerard Cully´s Takeyourpick (M.J.O´Connor) in the 2 mile 5 furlongs maiden hurdle for amateur riders at 19.05 CET, who has won 6 point-to-points this season. At Wexford there are 3 hurdles races, 3 on the flat and one biumper. Best horse on view is probably King of Westphalia (Seamus Heffernan) who runs in the 3yo maiden over 1 mile 5 furlongs at 19.45. Although he is far from being the biggest star in Aidan O´Brien´s stable, he is one of the best-bred (his dam was runner-up in 3 classics) and he should be able to outclass this evening´s opposition.
