Evening racing in the U.K.

There is racing this evening at Ripon and Hamilton (flat) and Aintree (N.H.). At Aintree the two class 3 handicaps are the best races and both look very competitive. Otarie (Alan King/ Robert Thonrton) and Swampy Blue (Tony Martin/ Robie Clgan) are both fancied for the 3 mils hurdles race at 19.50 CET, but Our Jim (Donald McCain/ Jason Maguire) looks a better option. The two miles handicap chase at 20.20 is wide open, but Vic Dartnall´s Benetwood may provide the answer with the assistance of champion jockey Tony McCoy. John Dunlop is always dangerous when sending runners to Yorkshire, and he can score a double at Ripon with Eglevski in the 10 furlongs handicap at 20.30 and Alsadeek in the 3yo maiden over 6 furlongs at 21.05, both partnered by Seb Sanders. There are only 6 runers in the class 3 conditions race for 3yo´s at Hamilton, but it is still quite tricky. All 6 are previous winners, and River Ardeche (Pat Haslam/ Paul Mulrean) is still unbeaten, but on official ratings, the race should be between Exhibition (Simon Callaghan/ Pat Dobbs), Perfect Polly (Jeremy Noseda/ Shane Kelly) and Van Bossed (David and Adrian Nicholls).
