French racing today

there is flat racing this afternoon at Longchamp and trotting from Vichy, as well as the usual Tuesday evening trotting at Vincennes. Today´s Longchamp card is relatively minor, but German interests are represented by Fancy Running, whose trainer Andreas Trybuhl and jockey Adrie de Vries were successful yesterday at Compiegne, and who runs in the mile handicap for 4yo´s at 16.50. There are also several runners with German connections, notably Gestüt Schlenderhan´s well-bred Iolith (André Fabre/ Johan Victoire), who runs in the mile race for 3yo debutants at 15.20.
