France today

There is racing again this afternoon from Lyon, as well as trotting from Cherbourg. There was a good German yesterday at Lyon, and there could be another one today, as Karen Haustein´s Global Dream must have a good chance in the mile conditions race at 16.20. Gestüt Auenquelle´s runner, winner of the Maurice Lacroix-Trophy at Baden-Baden at two, was trained by Uwe Ostmann last year and is now having his first run since flopping in the German Derby, and also his first run for his in-form trainer. Other German runners on the card are Pegmalion in the mile handicap for 4yo s at 14.20 and Courthouse Steps in the 2400 metres seller at 17.20, both trained by Dieter Fechner and partnered by Dominique Boeuf and Alxi Badel respectively, and they are also not without chances.
