Evening racing at 4 tracks

Plenty of action this evening, with H.H. racing at Ludlow and Folkestone, which stages a hunter chase meeting, as well as flat racing from Newmarket and a mixed card at Limerick in Ireland (4 flat races, 2 over hurdles and a bumper). Kadount looks a near certainty to win the 20.50 CET at Folkestone, and Fortune Seeker to take the mares maiden hurdle five minutes later at Limerick. Colorado Pearl (Paul Nicholls/ Sam Thomas) carries a 7 lbs penalty for a very easy win at Wincanton last week and should not be troubled to follow up in the 3 mile handicap chase at 19.35 at Ludlow, while easily the best race at Newmarket is the class 3 conditions race overa mile for 3yo s at 21.00. All 8 runners are previous winners and most of them will later be expected to make their mark at listed level, or even higher. Fanjura, Cat Junior and Tri Nations are all unbeaten, and Godolphin s Fateh Field will probably start favourite with Frankie Dettori in the saddle, but possibly Geoff Wragg s Moyenne Corniche, with Ryan Moore in the saddle, will prove to be the best of them.
